This scholarship is named in honor of Kevin Carney who served this Local and membership as Union Representative and as a member of the Local Executive Board.  Kevin Carney was the embodiment of continued education.  Not only did Kevin spend a great deal of time learning, he wanted to use that knowledge to help and serve others by sharing what he learned.
